Taking it Outside - TEKS in the Schoolyard

Unfortunately, we did not receive enough registrations and have had to cancel the conference.  

 

 The conference will focus on applying the TEKS outside, even in your own schoolyard, with easy and engaging activities.  Workshops are open to all pre-K, primary, and secondary teachers and educators.  Attendees can earn up to 6 hours of continuing education in the areas of  Project WILD, Growing Up Wild, Wildlife Habitats, Soils, Plants, Animals, Aquatics and so much more

TRAC Woodhouse

 The Trinity River Audubon Center is a flagship project for the National Audubon Society. Situated on 120 acres in the Great Trinity Forest - the largest urban hardwood forest in the U.S.    TRAC is housed in a LEED-certified interpretive nature center with over 50% of the space dedicated to classrooms, labs, and interactive learning spaces.
