Message from Bruce Rasmussen of the Dallas Zoo

Hi all, This year the Halloween event at the Dallas Zoo will be something completely different from what we’ve done in the past. It’s going to be really fun and exciting for the whole family, and it’s going to take place in the evening. The details haven’t all been worked out yet, but here’s what we can tell you right now:

Dates for Halloween event:     Thursday-Sunday, October 28-31

Time:                                       6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Features:                                 The zoo will have outdoor lighting; Halloween characters will be roaming the premises; there will be various different activities for kids, including treat stations. We will be needing lots of volunteers for this event, so please let us know now if you would like to help. (More details on specific volunteer assignments will be provided at a later date.)
