Program - Ms. Brasfield presents an educational program about something near and dear to all of our hearts - Texas water conservation, which of course, is so very critical to our wildlife and the habitat they need to survive

Texas Conservation Alliance is the state affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation and has a 30 year history of work on water conservation issues.  Smart Water for North Texas is a public education program that explains why there is no need for new reservoir development to meet the future water demands of North Texas and reveals the true cost of reservoirs including habitat and cultural losses.

After a career at Texas Instruments, Inc. she earned a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science from the University of North Texas.  She has supported environmental education and conservation efforts for many years through the Texas Master Naturalist Program, Texins Dive Club and U.S. National Park Service.
