West Gulf Coastal Plain and Big Thicket Science Conference: Changing Landscapes and Changing Climates April 8-10, 2011
We are proud to announce that this is the 5th installment of the West Gulf Coastal Plain and Big Thicket Science Conference. The purpose of the conference is to highlight the results of recent ecological research and conservation efforts to understand, manage and restore the unique biological diversity of the Big Thicket. In response to growing interest in the ecoregion, the scope of the meeting has been broadened to include the West Gulf Coastal Plain (including: the Pineywoods of east Texas, western Louisiana, southeastern Oklahoma, and southwestern Arkansas). Selected papers will be published in a supplementary edition of the Southeastern Naturalist
