Monthly meeting of the Dallas chapter of Native Plant Society of Texas

Speaker - Malinda Slagle is currently a weekend naturalist at the Fort Worth Nature Center and an intern at Feldman Design, a native plant landscape architecture firm.  She is also the program chair for the Dallas Native Plant Society.  She has a master's degree in biology from the University of Iowa studying the bee pollinators of leadplant, and a bachelor's degree in biology from Grinnell College in Iowa.  Before moving to Texas, she was a restoration ecologist for the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis for 5 years, and spent most of her time killing invasive plants.
