Wednesday,
June 1     7:00 pm

Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm
(Eat & Greet at 6:30pm and Meeting at 7:00pm)

Speaker: Sean Fitzgerald, wildlife photographer

Topic:  Trinity River Project:  Observing and Photographing Dallas' Trinity River Wildlife, Behavior, and Habitat

Sean Fitzgerald gave up an early legal career to pursue a career taking pictures full time.  He does fine art photography, sells to individual and corporate collectors, interior designers, and commercial art buyers, shoots for magazines, calendars and such, and teaches photography and Photoshop.  See his web site at www.seanfitzgerald.com.

Sean, who shoots nature and wildlife photos all over Texas, started documenting the ecosystems of the "wild" parts of the Trinity River in Dallas about a year and a half ago.  During last February’s record snowfall he spent three days in a blind at the Trinity River Audubon Center calling a pack of coyotes to lure them in close enough for picture taking.  The result won the grand prize of the 2010 Trinity River Photo Contest.

In his presentation to us, Sean will show us some of the work he had done along the Trinity River, and will discuss the wildlife and habitats he has discovered there

Meetings are open to the public.
