Topic:   Wildlife Management at DFW Airport

Speaker - Cathy Boyles, Wildlife Administrator, DFW Airport, Texas


Cathy has been the Wildlife Administrator at DFW Airport since 2004.  Her duties include ensuring compliance with FAA, USFWS and TxPWD-required rules and regulations as they pertain to wildlife hazard mitigation at DFW Airport; training Airfield Operations personnel in identifying, reporting and mitigating wildlife and wildlife attractants while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations; developing the airport’s Wildlife Stewardship (Awareness) Campaign; and promoting wildlife Strike awareness to minimize hazards to aircraft safety. She has B.S. degrees in Biology and Wildlife Management from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, and a M.S. in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington.  She worked for 9 years at UT Arlington in science program development before landing her current position

Meetings are open to the public.
