Winter Natrure Walk at Arlington's SW Nature Preserve led by famed botanical collector Jeff Quayle leads a winter walk.  The Preserve is an 85- acre area of Eastern Cross Timbers prairies and woodland. The focus will be on ID of plants during winter, birding, and another things of interest.  Starts at 11am.  Ends around 2pm.  Bring a lunch or snacks to pack with you. We will stop along the way on a hillside bluff for a lunch break.  The preserve includes the only know location in Tarrant County for Farkleberry (Vaccinium arboreum).  Jeff is the discoverer of Quayle's ragword (Senecio quaylei) in Parker County.
