Texas Nature Conservancy - Clymer Meadow Preserve - tree planting.

Description: The Conservancy is recreating a high quality riparian forest by adding pecan and bur oak trees to the existing riparian forest.  A lot of work on this project was completed last year, but was lost due to feral hog predation.  Please wear warm clothes, appropriate shoes and bring work gloves.

Come either day or both.

Fee: The tree planting weekend is free and open to the public.

Camping will be permitted around the preserve office.  Open campfires will not be permitted, but Conservancy staff will provide a single campfire for campers.  Restrooms are available in the preserve office.
