Brett Johnson, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Urban Wildlife Biologist will offer a thought-provoking, interactive presentation on the role of value judgments in natural resource management including issues such as emotion vs. science and the individual vs. population.

Brett has served as an Urban Wildlife Biologist for TPWD in our DFW area for the past 8 ½ years. He grew up in Irving and developed an interest in conservation through hunting and the Boy Scouts. Brett earned a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences at Texas A&M as well as a MS at Texas Tech. He has helped conduct research on white-tailed deer, red imported fire ants, turkeys, bobcats, and his personal favorite – black bears.

Location -
Banquet Hall of the Waxahachie First United Methodist Church. The Church is located at 505 W. Marvin Avenue in Waxahachie.
