Coppel Nature Park - help students with tree identification (VH)
Thursday, April 12 2012, 10:15am - 12:30pm

Friends,

NTMN volunteer opportunity on Thursday, April 12

For the Coppell Nature Park chapter project.

Master Naturalists (and others) are needed to help Coppell High School students identify trees in Coppell Nature Park.

Teacher Sunny Richardson is directing a student project to create an app for CNP tree identification.  It has 2 parts: (a) identify and photograph trees, (b) create the app and load the tree information.  We have been asked to help with part (a).

Date:  Thursday, April 12.
Time:  10:15 to 12:30 (perhaps).

Location:  Coppell Nature Park, Dallas MAPSCO 1-X.
Enter Wagonwheel Park off Freeport Pkwy.  Drive to the back near the batting cages.  Look for me.

Please reply to me and I will inform Ms. Richardson.

Tree list below. All fairly common. Nothing tricky.

Naturally,
