This spring the City of Farmers Branch presents 6 public nature walks at the new John F. Burke Nature Preserve. North Texas Chapter Master Naturalists will conduct the walks. Come on out. Bring family and friends.

The Nature Preserve comprises 104 acres of bottomland hardwood forest, fields and wetlands. It lies between the Pres. Geo. Bush Tpke and the Elm Fork of the Trinity. Diverse plant community, lot of birds, etc. Open dawn to dusk every day.
Location - 1111 Valley View Lane. Not in Google Maps yet. About 0.6 miles west of Luna Rd on Valley View Lane
