Plant Taxonomy Series (Part 3 of 5), Fruit: Learn how to identify any plant species using basic botanical terminology and characteristics. This lesson will focus on fruits and seeds. We will look at differences between simple and compound fruits and seeds. We will have the opportunity to sample a few fruits, as well. Plant Identification Terminology: An Illustrated Glossary by J.G. Harris and M.W. Harris is a recommended book for this class. Register for at least 3 of the 5 classes and receive the book for free. This program is approved for advanced training hours with Texas Master Naturalists. This class is geared for adults or children over 14. Pre-registration required. $15 (includes admission fee)/MEMBERS $10
