LLELA Pollinator Pocket Prairie – Work Sessions (VH)

8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

We have 7 workdays scheduled for June. We will be starting early, at 8:30 am, to try and beat the heat. We will work until it gets too hot, probably around 1:30, so bring your lunch. Please dress appropriately. Hats, sunscreen, water bottles, bug spray (West Nile has already been found in the county this year!), all may be necessary.

Pollinator Pocket Prairie at LLELA Update:
The edging around the first bed is finished, and mulch and irrigation hoses are in place. The blooms and butterflies are jaw-dropping gorgeous right now. When you come to work in the garden, definitely bring your camera!

Work schedule for the rest of June (all scheduled days we will meet at 8:30):
Tuesdays: June 19, 26 (Meet at gate at 8:30)
Fridays: June 22, 30 (Gate open- Tell Virginia you are volunteering for the Pollinator Pocket Prairie)Saturdays: June 2, 16, 23 (Gate open- Tell Virginia you are volunteering for the Pollinator Pocket Prairie)
