BRIT Research Projects Symposium
Monday, July 16 4-7 PM
The public is invited to attend a symposium that will feature the many research projects BRIT staff have been working on in the past several months. These projects involve, not only research staff, but staff from all BRIT departments in an effort to synergize the diversity that is BRIT. Tentative topics include the following:
* Texas Wetlands Project
* Wild by Nature
* Wildflower Meadows: An Alternative to Urban Landscaping
* Urban Landscape Analysis: Remote Sensing and Ground-Truthing of Fort Worth, Texas
* The Vascular Flora of the North Central Texas Walnut Formation
* Conservation Ethnobiology Field School: A Transportable Campus Approach to Problem-Based Learning
* Progress on the Flora of the East Melanesian Islands Biodiversity Hotspot
* Progress and Future of the Apiary Project
* Botany and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
