*       manned an outreach booth and had no clue what to say to people who walked up to look at your display?

*       watched wistfully as a nearby booth filled with laughing, active visitors and wondered why no one was coming to see your booth?

Master Gardener Kevin Burns will take the mystery out of setting up an event display for maximum impact.

Using Trunks to Educate a Passive Audience
NTMN Carlos Olivo will review the contents and educational messages of our Prairie and Mammal trunks.

Come one Come All and Let us Amaze You
NTMN Linda Ford, Judy Meagher and Elaine Ackley will give you pointers on how to attract families to our outreach booth and will share ideas on how to engage children.

What to Say When You Brain Goes Blank
North Texas Master Naturalist and longtime outreach coordinator, Julie Collins will help you break the ice with outreach booth visitors to promote the MN program.

Make it Rain and Then Some
Via video, Fred Burrell will demonstrate the assembly, maintenance and educational aspects of the Rainfall Simulator and the Something Fishy and Endangered Texas Animals displays.

2:00-3:00
Baffled and Alone in the Storeroom
Julie Collins and Stephanie Timko will take you into the storeroom and explain the various promotional materials used to stock MN outreach booths. In this hands-on session you will create your own outreach booth!!
