On April 5 the Dallas Zoo is offering training for new and old volunteers for the sting ray, butterfly and amphibian exhibits.  Volunteers will interact with Zoo visitors and help monitor the wildlife.  If this something you would be interested in, please contact Bruce Rasmussen, Volunteer Services Coordinator at the Dallas Zoological Society at 214-943-2771, ext 343, or by e-mail at brasmussen@dalzoo.org.

The Zoo requires that volunteers that a negative TB test result is need to volunteer in certain areas, like working with animals and aquatic species.  Other volunteer opportunities, like administrative duties, may not require the test.  Be sure to discuss this with Mr. Rasmussen when you contact him about volunteering.
