Vision North Texas Project - Opportunity to Participate in Subregional Workshops
Saturday, April 19 2008, 9:00am - 3:30pm

Northeastern Subregional Workshop

Vision North Texas has requested the assistance of Master Naturalists at two subregional workshops (4/19 & 5/31) designed to gather information to ensure that natural areas and ecosystems are adequately taken into account in planning for the expected doubling of our regional population by the year 2050.  The workshops will supply responsible, sustainable land use models to regional public agencies, private sector organizations, and entities such as the Regional Transportation Council and the regional Water Planning Groups and to create structure for a continuing collaboration to shape North Texas’ future.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Assistance with set-up the afternoon before
  • General assistance during all or part of the workshop (registration, misc.)
  • Facilitation and recording with individual small groups (Facilitator)
  • Recording of Lego display in the afternoon (Photographs)
