Join REI and Connemara Conservancy to conduct spring maintenance activities in the meadow preserve:

• Clear away trash
• Lay brush across old trails – to encourage re-growth
• Uproot honey locust and thistles from the middle of the meadow
• Knock down dead but still-standing ragweed

T-shirts, snacks, and drinks will be provided by REI.  Bring work gloves and a sharp-shooter spade.

Directions to the Meadow: Directions: From Highway 75 --
Exit Bethany Drive and go west approximately 1 mile.
Turn left (south) onto Alma Drive.
Take the next left though the open gate.
(If you reach Hedgcoxe and Tom Thumb, you have gone too far.)
Park to the left of the entrance.
