Monthly Chapter Meeting - Dr. Jill DeVito - Amphibian Defenses (AT)

Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm
(Eat & Greet at 6:30pm and Meeting at 7:00pm)

Presentation:  Dr. Jill DeVito's presentation is titled Amphibian Defenses and the Truth About "Toad Licking"

Speaker:  Dr. Jill DeVito received her Ph.D. in Biology from UTA and holds a B.A. and M.S. in Zoology.  She is presently a professor at UTA in the Department of Biology.  She holds Environmental Education Certificates in Project Wild, Project Flying Wild, Project Wet, Project Wild Aquatic and Project Learning Tree.

Some of her volunteer services include Science Fair Judge, Museum Educator, and Adopt a Highway Roadside Litter Patrol.  She served last year as the lead teacher for the Heard Museum's summer camp.  Additionally, Dr. Devito has an interest in Mythology and Folk Tales.
