Audubon Dallas monthly meeting and presentation Lynn Barber speaking on her “ABA Big Year of Birding” in 2008”

Lynn started her big year in Rockport in January and ended in Arizona in December. In between she traveled the continental U.S. and Canada (the "ABA area"). She tallied 723 different species in the year. At the same time she maintained her patent attorney practice in Fort Worth. She is past President of the Fort Worth Audubon Society, President-Elect of the Texas Ornithological Society. In 2005, she broke the previous record for number of bird species seen in Texas in one year tallying 522 bird species.
