  • Directions are from Denton.         Take I-35 north to Sanger, then exit onto FM 455 and go east past the Ray Roberts Lake dam. The State Park entrance will be on your left.

Plant highlights:  Rattlesnake Master (Eryngium yuccifolium), Ebony Spleenwort (Asplenium platyneuron), Pale Coneflower (Echinacea pallida), Ashy Sunflower (Helianthus mollis), Tall/Rough Gayfeather (Liatris aspera), Kansas Gayfeather (Liatris pycnostachya var. pycnostachya), Gravelweed Crownbeard (Verbesina helianthoides), Bejar Marbleseed (Onosmodium bejariense subsp. bejariense), Plains Wild Indigo (Baptisia bracteata var. leucophaea=leucophaea), Nuttall's Wild Indigo (Baptisia nuttalliana), Yellow Bush Pea (Baptisia sphaerocarpa), White Prairie Clover (Dalea candida var. candida), Pink Milkwort (Polygala incarnata) and Tube Penstemon (Penstemon tubiflorus).
