Earth Science enrichment for classroom teachers, informal educators and Master Naturalists.

Provides NINE CEUs  (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

DESCRIPTION
Join our stellar group of experienced geology presenters for a fun and educational trip to Ladonia, Texas, home of the famous Sulphur River fossil site.  Learn how to read a geology map, the environment, erosion/weathering, and the historical geology behind the scenery on the way there and back.  You will also learn field methods, collect your own fossil specimens, then back to the EMGI by a different route while discussing "the geology outside the window" and  asking all your questions.

MATERIALS
You will receive: CEU certificate, a notebook with geology of the area, Texas State Geology map, a cool field hat, handy guidebooks, and much more!
