Texas Buckeye Walks- attend walk, not guiding or helping - AT

Master Naturalist Jim Flood and his volunteers present the 2010 Texas Buckeye Walks this month.  The champion of the walks is the Texas Buckeye*, a medium-sized tree with bright cream-yellow flowers that bloom in March.

Scientific name: old = Aesculus arguta, new = Aesculus glabra var. arguta

Location - The Texas Buckeye Trail, a natural surface nature trail that meanders into the Trinity River's hardwood bottomland forest.  Address:  7000 Bexar Street, Dallas, Texas 75215  Mapsco 56L.

*   Saturday March 13      10:00 am and 1:00 pm
*   Sunday   March 14     10:00 am and 1:00 pm
