 : Join us for a walk through the woods &amp\; native prairie meadow at the
  Kiest Conservation Area in Oak Cliff.\n\nSpeakers &amp\; guides are Maste
 r Naturalists\, Carrie Robinson &amp\; Ben Sandifer.\n–– Carrie is cur
 rently Volunteer Service Project Director for NTMN. She is a certified Nor
 th Central Texas Master Birder and has been guiding walks with children an
 d adults in the DFW area\, collaborating with local organizations such as 
 Trinity River Audubon\, Perot Center Museum\,  Dallas Parks and Audubon D
 allas.\n––– Ben is an author\, photographer and environmental advoca
 te for parks and open spaces. He is also a certified Master Birder as well
  as a certified Stream Team volunteer monitoring water quality at numerous
  locations in the Trinity River Watershed. He was the 2015 DFW Sustainable
  Leadership Volunteer of the year  and was awarded 2019 Texas Citizen Sci
 entist of the year by the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment.\n\
 nWith many years of experience and an inordinate fondness for nature in ge
 neral they will be sharing their wealth of knowledge on our walk through t
 he Kiest Conservation Area.\n\nThe conservation area is an 78 acre tract o
 f land with an island of native Texas prairie. Over 150 wildflower species
  were identified by master naturalist legend Jim Varnum ten years ago.\n\n
 We will be meeting in the recently completed outdoor classroom. Everyone i
 s invited to attend\, and there is no charge. Closed toed shoes are recomm
 ended. Water and insect repellant will be provided.\n\nLocation: Kiest Con
