 e Audubon Dallas sponsored North Central Texas Master Birder Program. In a
 ddition to his birding experiences and skills\, in 2016\, Ben was named an
  Honorary Lifetime Texas Master Naturalist for his substantial contributio
 ns to the furtherance of the activities of the organization.\n\nHe current
 ly serves as a member of the City of Dallas Forestry Stakeholder Committee
 \, Trinity Park Conservancy Conservation Committee\, citizen project lead 
 at Big Spring Preserve and citizen project lead for the Friends of the Fis
 h Hatchery at White Rock Lake. In Dallas Great Trinity Forest\, Ben is an 
 EPA and TCEQ certified Texas Stream Team volunteer who monitors water qual
 ity at numerous locations in the Dallas Trinity River watershed. His award
 -winning nature photographs have been featured in local\, state and nation
 al publications.\n\nDescription: Come join us for birding this nearby hots
 pot with Ben Sandifer. Little Lemmon Lake\, adjacent to the trailhead\, ca
 n have Neo-tropical migrants during drier weather when the water body draw
 s down in summer months. Although mid-September in North Texas can often 
 be considered shoulder season\, an in-between season for birding\, Ben’
 s extensive knowledge of the area is sure to make this a memorable birding
  adventure. This trip will be especially interesting since Ben will discus
