John Bunker Sands Wetland Center || 1st Saturday Walk & Talk Bird Tour (AT)

Description:  Join us as we go on a walking bird tour and learn about the birds that live at the wetland. In this beginner-to-intermediate class, you’ll learn from a master birder how to use binoculars and field guides, keep a life list and ID birds. Recommended for ages 10 and over. Group size is limited to just 12 to enhance your birding experience.

Our tours are the first Saturday of each month. The walks are very fluid, & depending upon birds & environment, can run up to 4 hours. Our September-May tours begin at 7:30 and cost $10 per person. Our June-August summer tours, which premiere in 2026, begin at 6 a.m. at a reduced cost of just $5. There is no additional charge for admission.
