Description of event and what volunteers will be doing: Help restore the edges of a wetland habit along FM 1389 before the Shorebirds nest and our Eaglets JBS-22 and -23 fledge, on Saturday, Feb. 22. Fuel up with breakfast snacks, compete for the most unusual find, celebrate with a pizza party — and leave with the good feeling that comes from community service, land management, and pre-spring migration/nesting intervention. Please sign up so we’ll know how many bags, grabbers and gloves to order. Oh, and pizzas too!
