Please sign-up so we can notify you if trail/weather conditions require a postponement: https://volunteersignup.org/KRDLE
Our beloved soft-surface Ned and Genie Fritz Texas Buckeye Trail is in need of our help. Join NTMN, Trinity Coalition, Bonton Farms and the Dallas Parks and Recreation for our workday
We will be clearing herbaceous plants to maintain a 3-foot-wide that will be visible for public safety.
Wear work gloves, study boots, long pants, a long-sleeved over shirt, bring mask and hand sanitizer. If possible, bring hoes, loppers, rakes, gloves and plentyof water (suggest water with electrolytes). Limited number of tools and gloves will be provided.
Tecnu and mosquito spray will be on hand if you choose. Masks and distancing are recommended and may be required.
Optional lunch at Bonton Marketplace patio afterward.
Meetat the pavilion at Blair Park, across from Bonton Farms. If you arrive after the start time, walk over the levee, follow the concrete trail to find the entry to the soft surface trail on the left of the concrete circle.
