Description of event and what volunteers will be doing:
Start off the morning volunteering in the garden. Wildscape and Facility Maintenance – In one of three meadows where we are restablishing a prairie remnant: our task will be to do one or more of the following: remove invasive plants by weeding, hand trimming, weed-eating, dethatching, trash removal, planting seed, and planting native plants, if available. Bring a hat, gloves, and a water bottle. The supplies recommended for that particular date will be emailled to you when you RSVP.
At 930 we will be hosting public outreach tours of the Butterfly Trail. Volunteers needed to provide information about the park, native flora/fauna, and provide public tours.

Special instructions for parking and or inclement weather: Park in the large unlabeled parking lot with football fields, on the north side of New Market, which is closer to the I-635 feeder (than the lot which has the Paschall Park sign.) Park in an east facing space near New Market. Meadow One will be in front of you approximately 30 yards.
