Welcome the New Year by strolling with friends on a small-group guided walk along the creek and through the massive trees of Spring Creek Forest Preserve.
Small groups will leave (between 9-10:30am, every time we have 8-10 participants ready to go). Most walks will be approximately 45 minutes long, led by Preservation Society members (most of whom are Master Naturalists). Close-toe shoes mandatory; long pants recommended. Bring water. No restrooms on site but there are several convenience stores/fast food locations nearby.
Location – The east end of Spring Creek Forest Preserve; meet in the Halff Park parking lot, 4695 Ranger Drive, Garland (directly east of Naaman Forest High School; overflow parking in the Naaman Forest parking lot.
