Webmaster responsibilities
- WordPress theme changes.
- WordPress plugin installation, but not necessarily the use of the plugins.
- Create new pages as requested.
- Changes to menus or sidebars.
- Answering questions about using the website.
- Maintaining email aliases ending with @ntmn.org.
- Upload files when needed to be done with FTP.
- Create accounts for public.ntmn.org, and audit these annually.
- Approve user photos.
- Investigate any website related problems, such as calendar entries that do not display correctly.
The webmaster is not generally responsible for
- Answering questions from the public or any that are not related to the website.
- Managing user access to ntmn.org, including user approvals.
- Creating posts that appear on the home tab of either the public or members sites. These are done by the respective committees. The newsletter committee posts newsletter announcements, the speaker committee posts speaker announcements, etc.
- Posting items to the calendar.
- Posting new projects.
