If you have an event for an existing Chapter project which you want added to the calendar and communicated to the members, there are some steps to follow.
For a potential AT project:
Please contact the Advance Training Chair at advtraining@ntmn.org for advance approval. You can use Appendix G-2 which can be found under the Resources Tab on the Members Site.
If you want the event announced at a Chapter Meeting, please send the information to the President when the request is made before each meeting. Please use the format the President has requested.
If you want a special announcement to be sent to the members in between Chapter Meetings, please make a request to the Communications Director, communications@ntmn.org.
For a Volunteer Hours Event:
Please contact the Volunteer Services Director at activities@ntmn.org and provide the following information:
The name of the event
Date and time
Location including the street address
Title of the event
Description of the event and how NTMN will be volunteering
The website for the project or venue (if there is one)
Contact information for questions
Any special instructions like where to park, etc.
Any instructions about what to do in case of inclement weather
If rsvp is required, how to do that
Include the volunteersignup link if there is one
The Volunteer Services Director will add the proper VMS reporting information
