NTMN 2021 Summer Social: Reunited!

No charge and guests are welcome!
Catch up and socialize, meet new members, and enjoy food and fellowship. We’ll have a few icebreakers and door prizes to get things kicked off. Spend time enjoying each other’s company, catching up with old friends, and meeting other members!
This year’s event will be held outside at Texas Discovery Gardens. Please bring your lawn chairs and blankets to make yourself comfortable for a big picnic! Dress casually for hot weather.
Bring your own food (including plates, cutlery, and napkins) and alcoholic beverages. We will provide iced tea, lemonade, ice water, and cups, plus a special dessert treat to beat the heat!
The Great Hall will be open to grab cold refreshments and for anyone needing to take a cooling break. The use of masks is encouraged inside Texas Discovery Gardens buildings.
NTMN president Scott Hudson will lead a short program from 7 to 7:30 pm. We’ll be presenting pins to early certifiers from the Class of 2021, and will honor those NTMN passed on in the past two years. Be sure to check out 2021 class project displays in the Grand Hall.
Introducing our new Affinity Groups program—a chance for you to meet fellow members who are interested in the same subjects as you and learn about related volunteer opportunities and projects.
Come early from 4 to 5 pm and explore the grounds of Texas Discovery Gardens:

• Master Gardener’s Garden
