The purpose of the 72-acre Meadow Nature Preserve is to preserve and restore the natural, biologically diverse ecosystem that is native to the area. It also serves to connect people with nature and is open to the public on weekends.
Volunteers help with restoration work to re-establish native prairie plants, removal of invasive species, trail maintenance, guiding nature walks and other educational events for the public.
We have volunteer opportunities most days of the week.
