Coppell Nature Park is a natural area with 2 miles of trail, 2 outdoor classrooms, and other features. Three types of habitats support local wildlife: Cross Timbers forest, spring-fed creek, and prairie. This outdoor space provides opportunity for engaging with nature and learning experiences.
The mission of the Friends of Coppell Nature Park (FCNP) is to nurture an appreciation of our natural environment, encourage outdoor experiences, and foster nature education. The FCNP pursues the mission by partnering with the local community, the City of Coppell, and Coppell ISD to maintain the natural environment of the park and provide engaging programs at the Biodiversity Education Center. Underpinning these efforts are high conservation standards and an objective of raising a strong sense of community and environmental service for future generations.
