Dalea Hallii Reintroduction Surveys and Phenology Project

We would learn how best to re-introduce Dalea hallii to new suitable sites when existing sites have been
destroyed. Following this third year of survey data (this would be the third year), Canaan plans to publish the
data in the Society of Ecological Restoration “Ecology Briefs” section with context of the initial rescue.
Additionally, the phenology data would be collated via a group online document and submitted to the National
Phenology Network, where it would be publicly accessible. If we collect enough data additional white papers could follow. The information would likely be shared out at venues such as the annual Texas Plant Conservation
Conference and with the newly coalescing Texas Plant Conservation Alliance
