Texas Native Cats

Project revised in 2022. Texas Native Cats makes presentations to various groups around the state. For outreach, we participate in a variety of events such as EarthX, Nature Expo, Fort Worth Nature Center’s Monster Bash, the Dallas Zoo’s We Love Wildlife, and Plano International Festival. We are creating an education program for students.

2024 Activities – 4 volunteers with 139 hours of service performed

• Participated in several outreach events, including Dallas Totality 2024 Solar Eclipse; Native Plants and Prairies Days; and Youth Empowerment Expo (STEAM). All events provided information to visitors about our wild Texas felines and the need for conservation.
