The Texas Trees Foundation (Texas Trees) serves as a catalyst in creating a new green legacy for
North Texas through transformational, research-based plans that educate and mobilize the public to
activate the social, economic, environmental, and health benefits that trees and urban forestry
provide for a better quality of life.
Volunteers will assist Texas Trees Foundation staff with tree plantings.
Volunteers should wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes and be comfortable in and outdoors setting
planting trees. Sun protection and gloves are recommended.

Our Cool Schools Program focuses on increasing tree canopy on school campuses and integrating hands-on learning opportunities that connect students to nature.
- Volunteers help with tree plantings, which include the installation of 50+ trees, along with irrigation, and a hands-on planting experience for students, teachers, and community members
