Nature Trekkers (formerly Tiny Trekkers and Nature Explorers) is a series of nature explorations for young children and their caregivers. These experiences are most appropriate for toddlers through about third grade, but younger or older siblings can also enjoy our adventures! Children are encouraged to explore and practice leave no trace principles. Parents and Master Naturalist volunteers will support the children’s explorations, helping them learn through discovery and inquiry.
We meet at 10:00am on the first Friday of each month at pockets of nature around the Dallas area. Join our mailing list to be notified of meeting locations. Our walks typically take about an hour, and families will often stay after for a picnic lunch while the children play together.
