WHAT: BugFest 2025 – An exciting and educational family festival hosted by the city of Grand Prairie to celebrate the fascinating world of insects. Organizers are expecting large crowds (several thousand people) of all ages and will have plenty of things to do throughout the grounds for everyone to enjoy. Hoping to include hands-on displays, educational activities, and plenty of opportunities for guests of all ages to learn about the important roles insects play in our ecosystems. In the past they have worked with other chapters but this year want to partner with NTMN in sharing passion and expertise with the community through outreach tables, displays, running educational activities and generally supporting this event by speaking with kids and parents about the wonderful world of insects!
